Our Commitment

Calverda LLC is committed to making its digital products usable by people with disabilities. This statement covers our website, https://www.calverda.com (the "Site"), and the Calverda platform at https://app.calverda.com and our iPhone and iPad apps (the "Platform"). We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we design, build, and maintain both.

Standard We Follow

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content accessible, at three levels: A, AA, and AAA. Our target for both the Site and the Platform is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Conformance Status

The Site: substantially conformant. We evaluated the Site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA in October 2026, using automated testing with the axe accessibility engine and manual review of keyboard operation, focus visibility, color contrast, and heading structure. It meets the standard on the pages we evaluated, though some content may not yet fully conform.

The Platform: partially conformant. The Platform is built with accessible components, keyboard-operable controls, and visible focus indicators, but it has not yet been fully evaluated against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and some parts do not yet conform. The known limitations are listed below.

Both evaluations are internal. Neither the Site nor the Platform has been audited by an independent third party.

Measures We Take

• Treating accessibility as a requirement throughout design and development
• Using semantic HTML with landmarks and a logical heading structure
• Providing text alternatives for meaningful images and icons
• Making all functionality operable with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators
• Maintaining sufficient color contrast in light and dark themes
• Labeling form fields and announcing errors to assistive technology
• Writing link text that makes sense out of context
• Avoiding non-essential animation on the Site
• Testing with automated tools and by keyboard as part of development

Known Limitations

The Site has no forms, no embedded third-party content, and no animation, which removes the most common sources of barriers. Remaining risk is in details such as heading order, link text, and contrast at small sizes.

On the Platform:

• Charts and other data visualizations convey some information visually. The underlying figures are available in tables and in data exports.
• Some large, interactive data tables can be difficult to navigate with a screen reader.
• Documents you or others upload, such as scanned PDFs, may not be accessible.
• The bank connection window is provided by Plaid and the payment form by Stripe. Their accessibility is the responsibility of those providers.

If one of these limitations, or anything else, stops you from doing something, contact us and we will help you complete the task another way while we work on a fix.

Technical Specifications

The Site relies on HTML and CSS, with WAI-ARIA used sparingly. It does not require JavaScript to read or navigate; the only script it loads is cookieless analytics, and fonts are served from our own domain. The Platform relies on HTML, CSS, WAI-ARIA, and JavaScript.

Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technology

The Site and Platform are designed for current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari) and commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers. They may not work well with older browsers or technologies that do not support modern web standards.

If you encounter a barrier, need information in an alternative format, or have a suggestion, contact us. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 2 business days. It helps to include the page address, a description of the problem, and the browser and assistive technology you were using.
