Managed technology
Your technology, run for you, by people who answer for it.
For established businesses that would rather not run their own IT: devices, networks, cloud, identity, cybersecurity, monitoring, and support, taken on as one responsibility with agreed service standards. We run it the way we run everything else, close to the business and in plain language.
Who this is for
Operating companies with real-world assets and a workforce that is not at a desk: field crews, remote sites, depots, vehicles, equipment with its own network. Multi-entity groups where IT grew one acquisition at a time. Family offices and private companies that need enterprise-grade security without an enterprise IT department.
In each case the pattern is the same: the technology works, more or less, but nobody owns it. We take ownership. That means an inventory of what you have, a plan for what should change, and then the day-to-day running of it, reported on monthly in terms the owner understands.
What is covered
Devices and people
Laptops, desktops, phones, and tablets: procured, set up, kept current, and replaced on a schedule. A help desk that answers, with people who know your business rather than a script.
Identity, email, and collaboration
Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace run properly: accounts, access, multi-factor authentication, shared drives, and the joiner-mover-leaver process that most companies never quite finish.
Networks and sites
Office networks, site connectivity, firewalls, and secure remote access. For operating businesses that means the yard, the depot, and the remote site as well as head office, and the equipment networks that have to stay separate from the office ones.
Cloud and servers
What runs where, and why. Cloud services sized to the work, the few servers that still earn their place, and the integrations between line-of-business systems that keep data moving without a person re-keying it.
Cybersecurity
Endpoint protection, patching, email security, backup and tested recovery, access reviews, and the policies and evidence insurers and customers now ask for. Not a product; a standard, kept.
Monitoring, maintenance, and vendors
Systems watched continuously, problems fixed before they are reported, licences and contracts tracked, and the vendors managed on your behalf so there is one number to call.
How it works
It starts with an assessment: every device, account, network, system, contract, and risk, written down, with what we would change and in what order. From there a fixed monthly fee covers the running of it, with service levels we agree in advance and report against. Projects, such as a migration or a site build-out, are scoped and priced separately so the monthly number stays the monthly number.
Because we also do advisory, systems, and software, the usual gap between the IT provider and the people who change how the business works does not exist here. The team that keeps your laptops patched is the team that can rebuild the month-end process or write the tool nobody sells.
